Artist

Following on from her fantasy birds glasswork, the Artist turned to an Irish subject for her sculptures and has produced a number of pieces inspired by the Sheela na Gig. There is an air of mystery about these somewhat primitive stone carvings found on ancient churches & castles around Ireland. These pieces are striking in their simplicity and encapsulate the mythological nature of their subject matter.
